I graduated from San Francisco State University in 2007 with a BA and a major in English with an emphasis on Creative Writing. I got into Commercial Real Estate after I graded and spent the next 9 years with Rubicon Investments as a Tenant Relations Manager. In 2012, I went on a Study Abroad program in Tel Aviv, Israel, where I received a certificate in Photography and Graphic Design. Between 2012 and 2016, I was working in CRE during the day, and working for various Bay Area photography companies (Night Owl Photobooth, Treasured Prints, Shooting Stars, Fan Photography) in the night & weekends.
CREATIVE BIO:
I had been exploring my interest in film-making since Highschool and throughout college. However it wasn’t until 2010 that a short film was first premiered in an International film festival where it was runner-up for Best Short Comedy. I’ve had 3 different films screened at festivals and won 1 award of recognition before going to Camera Obscura School of Art in Tel Aviv. Between 2016-2021, I was working with a number of Film Production companies as Assistant Director, Camera Man, or Cinematographer that went on film festival circuits including Pen & Banjo Pictures, and Dented Cranium Productions. In 2018 I joined the board of a 501(c)3 non-profit called San Francisco Archive Productions which had been a neighborhood film archive group until 2021 when it got evicted from it's office.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Proficient in the Office Suite programs, Google programs, Adobe Programs
- Effective with IMovie, Adobe Premier, Final Cut Pro, CapCut
Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design.
-Actively use DropBox, Google Drive, Youtube, Vimeo.
